Set up a useful lesson request
Share the exact pickup, manual or automatic preference, any other requirements and the dates and times you can learn. We check those details directly with one instructor, so the offer is based on your real starting point and schedule. If your day involves Draper’s Fields or Gosford Green, say so when you describe the pickup.
Build confidence around the city centre
Coventry’s transport strategy gives the city centre inside the ring road a strong focus on people walking and cycling. Approaching this part of the city can give you a reason to practise scanning for crossings, checking mirrors before changing position and reading signs early. Your instructor can choose a suitable section for your experience and the current street layout.
Lessons can begin on roads you already know, then include a wider range of junctions as your control improves. If Bishopgate Green or Spon End is a more convenient starting area, include it in your request. That helps us check the actual pickup before pairing you with an instructor.
Review the instructor offer and costs
We find and pair you with one of our vetted instructors. The instructor confirms actual pickup coverage, your transmission and other preferences, suitable dates and times, and the lesson price directly. We negotiate the best available rate for your request. You see the offer before accepting and it is held for at least 24 hours.
The MIF Search Fee is paid upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more hours. Optional Priority is £25. We retain the Search Fee only if you accept. We refund the full fee, including Priority, if no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, if you decline any offer, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. Declining closes the entire search. Lesson payments go directly to the instructor on each lesson day. Offers through this service require no advance lesson payment or deposit.
