Practise around the seafront and town streets
Clevedon’s seafront changes were completed in May 2025. The Beach retains a one-way system with a contra-flow cycle lane, and the works included updated signs, crossings and an adjusted mini-roundabout. Hill Road also has a contra-flow cycle lane within a 20mph zone. Follow the signs and markings present, and watch for people cycling in the opposite direction.
If your everyday journeys include Old Church Road, Elton Road or Walton St Mary, tell your instructor. Lessons can build from familiar streets towards the seafront or quieter lanes when appropriate. Practise checking before turning across a cycle lane, managing speed and giving yourself time to read signs. Your instructor can choose the route and pace for your experience and the conditions.
Know how the offer works
We pair you with one vetted instructor and confirm actual pickup coverage, your transmission and other preferences, dates and times, and lesson price directly. We negotiate the best available rate for your request. You see the offer before acceptance, and it is held for at least 24 hours.
The MIF Search Fee is paid upfront at £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 hours or more. Optional Priority is £25. The fee is retained only if you accept. We refund the full Search Fee including Priority if no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, if you decline an offer, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. Declining closes the entire search. Lesson payments are made directly to the instructor on each lesson day, with no advance lesson payment or deposit.
