Read signs around the town centre
Devon County Council records no-waiting-at-any-time restrictions on specified sections of Parade, Station Hill and Coburg Crescent, including near junctions with Rock Road. The restriction applies to signed lengths, so read the signs and markings where you are rather than assume a whole street has the same rule.
These streets give you useful practice in noticing kerbside signs, checking visibility at junctions and planning where to position the car. If you usually travel from Hennock, Combe or Teign Village, tell us so we can check whether an instructor can meet you at that starting point. Lessons can build from simpler roads towards the centre when your observations are ready.
The offer and payments
We pair you with one vetted instructor and confirm actual pickup coverage, transmission and other preferences, dates and times, and lesson price directly. We negotiate the best available rate for your request. You see the offer before you accept and it is held for at least 24 hours.
The MIF Search Fee is paid upfront at £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more hours, with optional Priority at £25. It is retained only if you accept. We refund the full Search Fee including Priority if no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, if you decline an offer, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. Declining closes the entire search. Lesson charges go directly to your instructor on each lesson day, with no advance lesson payment or deposit.
