Find a driving instructor in Bushey.

Choose a useful meeting point

Give us your preferred address or meeting place, whether you want manual or automatic lessons, other requirements and the dates and times that suit you. We confirm actual pickup coverage and availability with one instructor. This means your offer is based on the location you need rather than an assumption that every street is covered.

Plan practice around the High Street

Bushey High Street has a cluster of shops, restaurants and services. Hertsmere Council also lists time-limited on-street parking on Greatham Road, High Road and High Street. If you practise nearby, look for the signs and markings in place, keep space around parked vehicles and watch for pedestrians near shops.

You might begin on familiar residential roads around Bushey Heath or Oxhey before tackling busier streets and parking decisions. Ask your instructor to help you check mirrors before slowing, observe before moving off and choose a position early at a junction. The route and level of challenge can progress as your confidence develops.

Know the price before booking

We pair you with one of our vetted instructors and confirm actual pickup coverage, your transmission and other preferences, suitable dates and times, and lesson price directly. We negotiate the best available rate for your request. You see the offer before accepting, and it is held for at least 24 hours.

You pay the MIF Search Fee upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more, with optional Priority at £25. It is retained only if you accept. The full Search Fee including Priority is refunded if no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, if you decline an offer, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. Declining closes the entire search. Lesson payments are made directly to the instructor on each lesson day, with no advance lesson payment or deposit.
