Ask your instructor about a suitable way to build confidence before using faster or busier roads. You can first practise observation, approach speed and lane positioning on less demanding streets, then work on reading signs, joining traffic and planning ahead when ready. If your pickup is nearer Ham, Brent Knoll or Alstone, mention that so the search checks the right starting point.

We pair you with one vetted instructor and confirm actual pickup coverage, transmission and other preferences, dates and times, and lesson price directly. We negotiate the best available rate for your request. You see the offer before accepting and it is held for at least 24 hours.

The MIF Search Fee is paid upfront and costs £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more. Optional Priority costs £25. The fee is retained only if you accept. We refund the full Search Fee including Priority if no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, you decline an offer, or the final held offer expires without acceptance. Declining closes the entire search. Lesson charges go directly to the instructor on each lesson day; no advance lesson payment or deposit is required.
