Find a driving instructor in Broughshane.

Agree the meeting place and schedule

We check your actual pickup request, manual or automatic preference, other requirements and dates and times directly with one instructor. This is useful in a smaller settlement where a clear landmark helps both sides agree where to meet. Your instructor also confirms the lesson price, so you can review the terms before accepting.

Use local landmarks for practical lessons

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council lists Broughshane Community Centre on Knockan Road and Broughshane House on Main Street. These are useful names to share when explaining where you want a pickup. Agree the exact meeting point with your instructor and make sure it suits your journey.

For practice, you can discuss the roads you use in and around Broughshane, including journeys towards Ballymena, Cullybackey or Kells. Your instructor can choose a suitable progression, from basic control and observation to following signs, handling junctions and making independent decisions. The DVA does not publish test routes, so learning to respond to different directions is more useful than memorising a local loop.

Understand the costs before you accept

We pair you with one of our vetted instructors and confirm actual pickup coverage, your transmission and other preferences, suitable dates and times and the price of lessons. We negotiate the best available rate for your request. You can review the offer before accepting; it is held for at least 24 hours.

The MIF Search Fee is paid upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested hours or £19.99 for 11 or more hours, plus optional Priority at £25. We keep the fee only when you accept. We refund the full Search Fee including Priority if no suitable local offer is found by the agreed search deadline, if you decline an offer, or if the final held offer expires without acceptance. Declining closes the entire search. Lesson payments go directly to the instructor on each lesson day, with no advance lesson payment or deposit.
