A convenient pickup can make regular lessons easier to arrange. Tell us if Hag Fold, Shakerley or another nearby area suits you. We will search for one of our vetted instructors and confirm whether your location, lesson preferences and timetable can be matched before you consider an offer.

We contact suitable instructors and ask them to confirm actual coverage and availability. That check helps ensure the offer responds to your own routine and starting point.
Build awareness around local changes
Wigan Council reported its Atherton scheme complete in early June 2026. The works included a raised table at Mayfair Drive and Marlborough Road and a toucan crossing on Bolton Road between Marlborough Road and Shakerley Lane. This recent local context can help you talk with your instructor about pedestrian awareness and junction decisions, but the road layout may change. Follow current signs and markings during lessons.
A vetted instructor with a clear price
Our team contacts suitable instructors in the vetted network and pairs you with one. They confirm your pickup coverage, transmission and other preferences, the dates and times they can offer, and the lesson price directly. We negotiate the best available rate for your request.
Your search fee and offer window
The MIF Search Fee is paid upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested lesson hours or £19.99 for 11 or more. Optional Priority costs £25. The fee is retained only if you accept an offer, which is held for at least 24 hours. We refund the full search fee including Priority if no suitable local offer arrives by the agreed deadline, you decline an offer, or the final held offer expires without acceptance. Declining closes the full search.
Pay the instructor on lesson days
For offers arranged through us, each lesson is paid directly to the instructor on the day. No advance lesson payment or deposit is required. DVSA does not publish test routes, so practise adaptable skills on different roads.
