Use familiar Alexandria landmarks
West Dunbartonshire Council identifies Alexander Street as a connection between Alexandria town centre and the River Leven, and names the Smollett Fountain as a historic landmark. These references can make it easier to explain where you feel comfortable meeting or which part of town you want to practise around. As you progress, discuss safe positioning, observation and junction decisions with your instructor, building from familiar streets to less familiar situations.

Our team contacts suitable instructors and matches you with one. They confirm your exact pickup coverage, transmission and other preferences, the dates and times they can offer, and lesson price directly. We negotiate for the best available rate for your request.
An offer with time to consider
The MIF Search Fee is paid upfront: £9.99 for up to 10 requested lesson hours and £19.99 for 11 or more. Optional Priority costs £25. The fee is retained only if you accept the offer. Each offer is held for at least 24 hours. If we find no suitable local offer by your agreed deadline, you decline an offer, or the final held offer expires without acceptance, we refund the full search fee including Priority. Declining closes the full search.
Payment and test preparation
For offers arranged through us, lesson charges are paid directly to the instructor on the day of each lesson. No advance lesson payment or deposit is required. DVSA does not publish practical test routes, so use lessons to build safe skills for varied roads.
